Common questions
Is FreeMemory available on iPhone yet?
Not yet. FreeMemory for iOS is in development. The Android app is available now on Google Play, and it is free with no ads.
Will the iPhone version be free too?
Yes. FreeMemory has no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscription on any platform, and that will not change on iOS.
Why does the iOS version do less than the Android version?
iOS does not let apps browse the whole filesystem the way Android does. FreeMemory for iOS is scoped to your Photos library, so it can clean duplicates, large media and screenshots, but it cannot clear arbitrary downloads, ZIPs or app files.
Will my photos be uploaded anywhere?
No. Like the Android app, everything runs on your device. Scanning, duplicate detection and compression never send your photos off the phone.
